(Bemidji, MN) — March 27, 2022 — The CEO of Global Ocean Investments, Justin Etzin, has acquired a site for their latest development. The former Federal building is situated in the central business district of downtown Bemidji in Beltrami County.
The Bemidji Federal Building was constructed in 1960 and was originally built as a U.S. Post Office. Until 2018 the building housed the bureau of Indian Affairs and the Indian Health Service. The building has over 50,000 square feet. is about 12,500 square feet over the buildings four floors.
Subject to Zoning, Planning and Change of Use, the new owners would like to create “The Federal,” a development of 44 luxury residential 1, 2 & 3 bed apartments with state of the art facilities in the heart of Bemidji.
