The Cereal Box Challenge

(Rochester MN) –March, 25, 2022 — There’s a new social media trend sweeping the nation.   The Cereal Box Challenge helps school kids get involved with local charities.   It helps local food shelves and other charities gather boxes of cereal for those who need it.   It entertains while building awareness.   It’s a social media trend that is a win-win-win.

The Students and Staff at Bamber Valley Elementary School (School District 535) in Rochester completed the challenge.   Kids donated nearly 100 boxes of cereal to help feed the children and families of the Ronald McDonald House in Rochester.

To complete the challenge, the cereal boxes are set up like dominoes in a hallway, gym or other space.  Then are knocked over in a chain reaction.  The cold cereal domino-effect only lasted about 15 seconds, but the memories of helping others will last a lifetime. The Cereal Box Challenge teaches tasty physics for a great cause.
