(Minneapolis, MN) — August 16, 2022 – For the third consecutive year, MacPhail Center for Music’s Global Music Initiative (GMI) will offer multiple year-long residencies to foster cultural change in our communities through passion creativity and music.
The GMI believes that supporting and investing in diverse voices elevates the current standards of music education pedagogy. This program is a commitment to cultivating inclusivity within both music education and MacPhail Center for Music by creating a platform for diverse voices to share their creative stories, challenge ideas and foster community-centered growth.
