(Atlanta, GA) — August 31st, 2023 — Take a stroll with the newly minted Certified Community Action Professionals as they are recognized by the National Community Action Partnership at its Awards Gala last week in Atlanta. The gala was part of NCAP’s Annual Conference.
The awarded credential recognizes individuals who have demonstrated knowledge and application of the core competencies required to effectively carry out the vision, mission, purpose, and values of the Community Action movement.
Minnesota is home to 24 Community Action Agencies whose mission is to assist and uplift household with low incomes and people living in poverty. Eight Minnesota Community Action representatives received their credential.
