(Avon, MN) — June, 26th, 2023 — According to the Minnesota Highway Patrol, Trooper Mollie McClure was on I-94 near Avon when she saw a female deer pacing along a fence line. Upon investigation, she could also hear a vocal young fawn. A fawn was stuck in the fencing. McClure wiggled the fawn free and reunited it will its mother.
This video taken from Trooper Millie’s body cam has since gone viral. It has been picked up by national news media and has been viewed thousands of times.
