(Welch, MN) — February 27th, 2023 — Good news for Minnesota’s leisure and hospitality workers — it’s Minnesota’s no. 1 fastest-growing industry right now — a real rebound as we approach three years since covid nearly ground the industry to a halt.

According to Seehusen, demand exists for leisure and hospitality jobs of all kinds in Minnesota right now. In particular, the entertainment category — including resorts and casinos like Treasure Island — is in need of workers. In fact, Minnesota’s entertainment jobs have grown 30% since last year alone, per state data.
“Even if you’re new to the industry, there are opportunities out there for you,” Seehusen said. “For jobseekers, I recommend looking beyond companies’ websites — connect with the industry on LinkedIn. There are tons of opportunities to learn and grown in leisure and hospitality.”
