ACCAP Celebrates 50 Years of Service – Patrick McFarland

Patrick McFarland

(Anoka, MN) — September 27th, 2023 — Fifty years of doing anything is extraordinary. Fifty years of working for a Community Action Agency is nearly unheard of, but Anoka County Community Action Program, Inc. Executive Director Patrick McFarland has managed to do it.

On Friday, ACCAP celebrated Patrick’s 50 years at the agency. He started as a community organizer and worked his way up to the top spot, holding various positions in between.

Last month, he received the National Lyndon B. Johnson Leadership Award from the National Community Action Partnership. Read more about it at minncap.org/community-highlights.

Patrick’s celebration brought out past and current ACCAP Board members and Community Action staff from around the state. Minnesota Community Action Partnership is proud to call Patrick one of our own.

Fifty years never looked so good.

Congratulations, Patrick!
