(Fridley MN) — February 22nd, 2023 — Prepare to be serenaded by the timeless melodies of Burt Bacharach as Elevator Pop sensation RetroFizz hosts “A Look Bacharach” at Crooners Lounge & Supper Club on May 3.
Bacharach, a titan of American popular song, left an indelible mark on the music industry with scores of hits that continue to resonate today. This tribute, spearheaded by local group RetroFizz, promises an evening of unforgettable performances featuring some of the Twin Cities’ hottest musical talents.
Last year’s event saw a diverse lineup of musicians, from Adam Levy to Gwen Matthews, coming together to explore the vast repertoire of Bacharach’s compositions. Such was its success that RetroFizz is reprising the celebration, this time in honor of the composer’s birthday.
Led by Jimmy Kennedy, Morris Engel, Joe Weismann, and Ariel Donahue, RetroFizz will not only host but also provide backup for an array of star-studded performances.
