(Alexandria, MN) — June 23th, 2023 — The WORLD’S LARGEST shooting sport event is underway in Alexandria Minnesota.
More than 340 high school teams featuring nearly 7,900 student athletes are expected for the 2023 Trap Shooting Championship, June 12th-20th at the Alexandria Shooting Park in Alexandria.
Nine full days of competition will feature new teams and participants – June 12-20, 2023!
Each team is assigned a tournament day as determined by their Class and Conference designation. This allows all teams to complete their competition (Novice, Junior Varsity, and Varsity) on a single day while allowing competition among teams with a similar team size.
In addition there are around 60 vendor booths and a raffle with 65 prizes worth over $25,000.
This Championship is the qualifying team competition for the State Tournament. The Minnesota State High School League’s State Tournament is on June 23rd at the Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake.
