University of Minnesota Thermal Conductivity

Record-setting discovery could lower energy consumption and improve heat management in electronic devices   (Minneapolis, MN) — August 1, 2023 — A team led by University of Minnesota scientists and engineers has discovered a new method for tuning the thermal conductivity of materials to control heat flow “on the fly.” Their tuning range is the highest ever recorded among one-step processes in the field and will open a door to developing

Vagus Nerve Stimulation

(Minneapolis/St Paul, MN)  — Oct. 26, 2022  — University of Minnesota Twin Cities researchers are leading a comprehensive global clinical study that seeks to reveal the functional effects of vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) across the human body.  The Research Evaluating Vagal Excitation and Anatomical Links (REVEAL) project is a $21 million National Institutes of Health-funded project that will take place over three years. REVEAL aims to study the anatomical connections
