(Alexandria, MN) — December 10th, 2024 — The 76th annual Jingle Bells Telethon brought festive cheer and holiday spirit to Alexandria, MN, on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Held at the Alexandria Area High School Performing Arts Center, the event ran from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., featuring live entertainment, heartwarming stories, and opportunities for the community to give back.
The telethon, organized by the Jingle Bells Foundation, aims to raise funds for families in need during the holiday season. This year, the event successfully raised money to support nearly 700 families in Douglas County and surrounding areas2. The evening was filled with musical performances, heartfelt speeches, and a sense of community as volunteers and donors came together to make a difference.
Donations poured in throughout the night, with many viewers calling in or donating online to support the cause. The total raised for 2024 was $94,680.00






The day after the telethon, organizers and volunteers loaded boxes of food and toys for delivery at C&L Distributing in Alexandria. The community’s response was overwhelming, with many stepping up to help in any way they could.
